2. What are the Terms and Conditions for hiring Crimson Sherpa?

The Terms and Conditions below are fundamental to the provision of services by Crimson Sherpa to any consumer (“Client”) of services at hand. Payment for any Crimson Sherpa services indicates that the Client has hired Crimson Sherpa for the specific service(s) as well as the Client’s agreement with the following terms and conditions.


  • Roles & Responsibilities: Crimson Sherpa’s role is to provide advice, editorial input, coaching and other consultations on matters related to the admissions process (such as essays, interviews, etc.) for which it is hired by the Client. However, it is the ultimate responsibility of the Client to manage and abide by all requirements of the application process for each school to which the Client is applying, including but not limited to application deadlines, essay character / word / page limits, etc.

  • Warranties: Crimson Sherpa cannot guarantee any admissions outcome for any particular college, university or graduate programs (including MBA programs). Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.

  • Affiliation: Crimson Sherpa is not affiliated with Harvard University, Columbia University or with any other institutions or organizations.
  •  
  • Termination / Refunds: An “Engagement” is defined as a segment of service to be rendered by Crimson Sherpa for a specific amount of money paid by the Client. Each instance of a Client making a payment as relates to a service constitutes the beginning of an Engagement. Client Engagements can be terminated either by Crimson Sherpa or by the Client at any time. If the Client terminates the Engagement, Crimson Sherpa is under no obligation to provide any refund. Any outstanding balances must be remitted by the Client within 5 calendar days of receipt of PayPal invoice. If Crimson Sherpa terminates the Engagement, Crimson Sherpa will refund the total amount paid by the Client minus the fee for the work already completed within 31 calendar days (via PayPal.com, subject to PayPal.com’s transaction fees and requirements).

  • Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure: During Engagements, the Client may receive information or material of a privileged nature from Crimson Sherpa (“Confidential Information”). These include, but are not limited to, sample interview questions, strategic advice, essays, resumes, applications, etc. During and after Engagements, the Client shall not disclose any Confidential Information without the prior written permission of Crimson Sherpa, except as relates to the completion of the Client’s application materials.
